0055341: [24Q2] It is possible to edit or cancel a gift card from back office and still use it in pos2
It is possible to modify a gift card's expiration date from the back office, and this change is not reflected in the pos2 until some time after. For example, you can make an unexpired gift card expired, but you still can use it in the pos2 as it were unexpired yet.

Also you can cancel a gift card from the back office and still use it in pos2. An message may appear warning you about some problem with the gift card, but anyway it is possible to complete the payment.
1) Log into POS2
2) Search for Gift Card 50 €
3) Fill the identifier with this value: GC/001
4) Fill the initial balance with 50 €
5) Click Finish
6) Complete the payment by clicking on Pay, then Card, then Done
7) Once completed, add any other product to the order
8) Click Pay
9) Select Gift Card as a payment method
10) In the Card ID field, type GC/001
11) Click Search
12) Select the gift card that appears as a result, but don't complete the payment yet (if it is any amount due, click on Card too)
13) Without closing the pos2, open another tab/window and log into the back office
14) Go to the Gift Card Instance window
15) Search for GC/001 and select it
16) Click on the Cancel Gift Card orange button at the top-right corner and confirm the cancellation
17) Go back to the POS2
18) Click Done to complete the payment and confirm => The payment will be completed even if the gift card has been cancelled

You can try the same flow but expiring the gift card from the back office
