| Summary | 0000510: Ctrl + arrow left or right navigation | ||||
| Description | When editing any EXISTING record within any window (edit mode not relation mode), one can navigate to the next or the previous record by using the arrow icons in the toolbar or press the "Ctrl + left arrow" or "Ctrl + right arrow". If you use the toolbar arrows and the record has been changed during editing, the system will alert you that there are changes that will be lost if you navigate away from the current record without it being saved. However, if you use the "Ctrl + arrow" navigation and there are changes to be saved, the system just navigates away from the record, without any alert, thus losing changes. this can be most annoying when entering longer texts where people are used to using "Ctrl + arrow" shortcuts to skip whole words, whereas here this shortvust has been overridden. | ||||
