Summary | 0048718: Not able to change password |
Description | Change password screen non-responsive when logged in to back-office through the Web-POS.
We noticed that when the user is not associated with a Business Partner or Business Partner Address then this problem occurs. So a workaround is to associate a user with the business partner.
|
Steps To Reproduce | -Login to Web-POS
-Go to Menu and click on Back-office menu entry
-In the back-office, click on the user and change password, and click Apply button
-Notice that the Apply button is non-responsive |
Proposed Solution | We have attached the stack trace from the customer's environment for your reference. |

|
Yogas, I cannot reproduced the issue. In livebuilds I logged in in the POS with the Openbravo user (that is not associated with a business partner). Then I clicked on the Backoffice button and was able to update its password without any trouble, both from the User window and using the Change Password tab in the Profile |

A custom event handler updating the Business Partner entity when updating the User is causing this exception. So this issue is not relevant anymore. |

No change required in the product, problem was caused by customization module, owner has been notified |
