0047198: Hardware manager parameter server.allowedhost doesn't appears to have any effect
As far as is described on wiki:

http://wiki.openbravo.com/wiki/Retail:Hardware_and_Peripherals_Installation#Openbravo_Hardware_Configuration [^]

Section webserver

You can block the use of hardware manager from anyother device from your network except the one where hardware manager is running, adding "server.allowedhost = localhost" on the Openbravo.properties configuration file.

Apparently, It doesn't have any effect. You can print a recepit from anyother device from your local network.
First test.

1. Setup hardware manager with the parameter:

server.allowedhost = localhost

2. Run hardware manager from related to version Openbravo3.0 PR20Q3.5.
3. Pickup your local ip where hardware manager is running (f.ex: 192.168.1.39)
4. Go to other laptop / computer within your network
5. Navigate to http://192.168.1.39:8090 [^]
6. Hardware manager server is shown

Second test.

1. configure a touch point terminal with the hardware manager url pointing to the same local computer, f.ex: http://192.168.1.39:8090/printer [^]
2. Open that touchpoint POS and do a receipt
3. Receipt is printed through hardware manager, from a laptor or computer different than the one where hardware manager is.
4. Do a close cash process. The cash close receipt is printed again.

Finally there is no issue. The problem was that the hardware manager used didn't yet have this feature (it was introduced in 21Q1 as part of this feature request https://issues.openbravo.com/view.php?id=45365 [^] )
