Internally we cannot reproduce this issue. The account tree pops-up in about 7 seconds, which given the infrequent usage of this UI (it is only used at configuration time and not by end users) should be acceptable.

Issue is scheduled for resolution in Sprint 3 of the Performance project - as discussed with PJuvara reduced priority to urgent to avoid confusion

After our current work on issue 5338 (still ongoing) we get the following server-side execution times on the requests which are done when opening the accounting tree:

>> Get Account Element window 77
>> Get Element Value tab 110
>> Open Account tree popup 327

So the needed time on the server side is negligible after applying this fixes (which will be included in the current sprint 3).

Retesting in the browser the time for opening the popup with the accounting tree (after clicking the tree icon in the toolbar) is around 4s with about 0.5s (see previous note) being on the server side.
