Summary0004566: Setup-tools are too heavy
DescriptionWhile checking-out 'openbravo' project, one sees that the project itself is 79 MB size and the setup-tools are 50 MB.

In these 50 MB are included setup-tools for OS/platforms different from the one we want so one is downloading garbage.

These setup-tools are only used to configure 'Openbravo.properties' file: http://wiki.openbravo.com/wiki/Openbravo.properties [^]
Steps To Reproduce1) svn co https://dev.openbravo.com/svn/openbravo/trunk [^] openbravo-trunk
Proposed SolutionSolution 1) Include a mean to download only the setup-tool for my OS (using, for instance, a Subversion parameter while checking-out).

Solution 2) Make a multi-platform tool (using Java, for instance) that makes the same that the current setup tool, i.e., configure a single file: http://wiki.openbravo.com/wiki/Openbravo.properties [^]

I plan to create a new ant task, called "ant setup". It will download the adequate binary file from the setup-tool svn repository, depending on your platform.

They are too heavy, give problems in merges and make the checkouts much slower. This should be for 2.50. I increase the priority.
