| Summary | 0004242: AT240beta - Error message when creating a Bank should be more specific |
| Description | When I enter a new Bank with incorrect data, I receive a generic message. It should be more clear a specific message about what I am doing wrong. See steps. |
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Go Financial Management || Receivables & Payables || Setup || Bank
2. Create a new Bank. Fill mandatory data (Name, Address)
3. Fill Bank Code with 1234
4. Fill Branch code with 001
5. Fill Control Digit with 0
6. Save. An error message is displayed about Bank Code, Branch Code and Control Digit, but only Branch Code has erroneous data (see attach) |
| Proposed Solution | From an end user perspective, the message will be more clear if only *real* errors are displayed. In the example showed in Steps, the error seems to affect all the three fields when just one is the problem. |
