Steps To ReproduceAs System Admin role:
  Go to Windows, tabs and fields and set Is Quantity Variable field as Displayed in Product window

As Group admin role:
   Set Enable Stock Reservations preference to Y
   Log out and log in

   Select Cerveza Ale 0,5L and set it as Is Quantity Variable

   Create a Sales Order
   Add 3 units of Cerveza Ale 0,5L
   Book it

   Select the line, click on Manage Reservation and reserve 4 units of the product
   Generate Picking List and check 3 units have been included in the line instead of 4

Test Plan 38955 I:
- Create a new Sales Order with ordered qty = 10
- Generate a Picking list from the previous order
- Go to the Picking List created and edit the line with qty = 7, Process it and Check:
    Order Partially Reserved
    Order Delivery Status: 70%
    Reservation Quantity: 10, Reserved qty = 7, Released: 7, Status Completed
- Generate a Picking list from the previous order
- Go to the Picking List created and check:
    PL Movement qty: 3, Process the Picking List.
    Order Completely Reserved
    Order Delivery Status: 100%
    Reservation Quantity: 10, Reserved qty = 10, Released: 10, Status Closed
- Navigate to the shipment created and Void it and check:
    Order Partially Reserved
    Order Delivery Status: 70%
    A new reservation is created with Reservation Quantity: 10, Reserved qty
    = 3, Released: 0, Status Completed
- Generate a Picking list from the previous order
- Go to the Picking List created and check:
    PL Movement qty: 3, Process Picking List.
    Order Completely Reserved
    Order Delivery Status: 100%
    Reservation Quantity: 10, Reserved qty = 3, Released: 3, Status Closed

Test Plan 38955 II:
- Create a new Product with Lote as Attribute set, added a sales price list
- Receipts 10 units of the previous product with lote: 123 and 15 units with
  lote: 456
- Create a new Sales Order for the previous product created with qty 12
- Generate a Picking List from the previous order, remove the line with qty
  2, process it and check
    Order Partially Reserved
    Order Delivery Status: 73%
    Reservation Quantity: 12, Reserved qty = 10, Released: 10, Status
    Completed
- Generate a Picking list from the previous order
- Go to the Picking List created and check:
    PL Movement qty: 2, Process Picking List.
    Order Completely Reserved
    Order Delivery Status: 100%
    Reservation Quantity: 12, Reserved qty = 12, Released: 12, Status Closed
- Navigate to the shipment created and Void it and check:
    Order Partially Reserved
    Order Delivery Status: 83%
    A new reservation is created with Reservation Quantity: 12, Reserved qty
    = 2, Released: 0, Status Completed
- Generate a Picking list from the previous order

Is the expected behavior, AWO module also behaves in this way.
 
Workaround to the reported issue:

As Group admin role:
   Set Enable Stock Reservations preference to Y
   Log out and log in

   Select Cerveza Ale 0,5L and set it as Is Quantity Variable

   Create a Sales Order
   Add 3 units of Cerveza Ale 0,5L
   Book it

   Select the line, click on Manage Reservation and reserve 4 units of the product
   Generate Picking List and check 3 units have been included
   Update the line to 4 units
