| Summary | 0037844: [RR18Q1] The message when logging out keeping a ticket with pending payments is not correct | ||||
| Description | A message saying "There has been payment added to receipt. Please remove the payment in order to delete/cancel the receipt" is shown in case an open receipt has partial payments. But I am neither deleting nor cancelling the ticket. See steps. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Create a ticket for any product 2. Click the total amount to pay it. 3. Enter a value to partially pay the ticket 4. Go to the menu and log out. The message is shown. Note that I as a user did not delete nor cancel the ticket, and the expected behaviour is to get the ticket back once I log in back, so the message as it is has no sense. See Proposed Solution | ||||
| Proposed Solution | 1. Current text (even without taking this issue into account) should be improved "There has been payment added to receipt" does not sound right and it assumes one payment and one ticket 2a. The text should state that logout is also a prohibited action with payments, "Open tickets have pending payments, please remove the payments before logging out" 2b. In case logout message could not be handled independently, "Open tickets have pending payments, please remove any payment before continuing" | ||||
