Summary | 0036764: No tax rate found in Web POS if children tax rated does not have a "Region" setup.
Description | No tax rate found in Web POS if children tax rated does not have a "Region" setup.
Steps To Reproduce | Create "Karnataka" region for India country. Change "Organization" location to India and Karnataka region. Create a customer located in India, Karnataka region that can be used in Web POS. Create below tax rates related to a tax category named "Luxury Goods" : Tax Name Summary Parent Rate INTRA 29% Y - 0.00 SGST 14% 'N' INTRA 29% 14.00 CGST 14% 'N' INTRA 29% 14.00 CESS 1% 'N' INTRA 29% 1.00 Make sure that below Tax Zone setup is "only" configured for the partner (summary) tax rate: From Country / To Country : India From Region / To Region : Karnataka Create a product named "India Product" related to the tax category above. Make sure this product can be used/selected in Web POS. Go to Web POS and create a receipt for the customer just created (located in India, Karnataka) and for the product created. Verify that no tax rate is shown. Go to the tax rate create, and select any children tax rate. Enter tax zone configuration as: From Region / To Region : Karnataka Syncronize data. Create another ticket for the customer and the product and check that only the children tax rate that has country/region setup is shown. If a sales invoice is created same way in the backoffice, all children tax rates are shown in the invoice.
Proposed Solution | Tax search in Web POS should not only take into account children tax region configuration but also parent tax region configuration.
