0003461: multiple copies of jasper reports
I configured the AR Invoice document type to have 3 copies through the menu: Financial Accounting -> Accounting -> Accounting Rules -> Document Types.

However when i try to print invoices it only prints one copy.

I was told that this feature might not be yet implemented for jasper reports. This would be extremely useful.

In general, we do not think that this feature should be implemented. We believe that Jasper output should be printed using the client side printing capabilities (i.e. generate PDF document, open in PDF viewer and print from there), so the number of copies should be decided on the client.

Somethings i failed to refer in the original report that don't work with the proposed solution:

In my company we have a requirement of having to print 3 copies of every invoice. The last update says that this sould be done using the features of the PDF viewer, which makes sense in the simplest case. But I need to actually differentiate between the three copies of the invoice. One copy has to marked as "original", other copy has to be "duplicate" and the final has to be "triplicate". I can't really do this within a standard pdf viewer, it has to be done inside the jasper report.
