Summary | 0032349: [RR16Q1] Exception thrown in the backend when creating a Sales Order with large Packs | ||||
Description | There is a button labelled "Add Pack" in the backend's Sales Order window. Using it opens a pop up, that has a field to introduce the number of packs. While this field is limited to four digits (maximum of 9999) there is not limit when using the keypad, generating a Java.lang exception. See steps. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Login as WhiteValley Admin user 2. Go to Sales Order window 3. Create a header for any valid customer and save. 4. Click the button labelled "Add Pack" 5. A pop up is shown. 6. Check the field Quantity. Verify it is capped to 9999. (See attached image) 7. Click the calculator icon to open the numeric pad. 8. Enter twenty nines: 9999999999999999999 9. Click the equal sign to accept 10. A message "The value entered is not valid" is shown (See attached image) 11. Click the Ok button 12. An exception is shown: java.lang.Exception: For input string: "999999999999999999999" (See attached image) | ||||
