Summary | 0032156: It would be nice to have the purchasing plan for multiple stores
Description | It would be nice to have the purchasing plan for multiple stores
Steps To Reproduce | Thge client has 3 store locations and there is a warehouse for each location set up in OB. Each location does purchasing of inventory and sells inventory. The client wants to use the Purchasing Plan. Each store has minimum safety stock and maximum stock requirements, but these requirements are different for each store. So they could have Product1 that has minimum stock 5 in one store and the other store has minimum 25. Also, the purchasing plan will need to look at booked sales orders (sales orders are created under each store organization) to see if stock is needed. Some of their vendors provide a volume discount. Because of this, sometimes the client wants to run a purchasing plan for all 3 stores and create 1 purchase order for all products for that vendor so that they can take advantage of the volume discount. They need the purchasing plan to take into account all outstanding sales orders for each location, as well as the safety stock/max stock requirements for each individual store. I have done some testing and I see that if I create a warehouse under the legal with accounting organization and run the purchasing plan under the LEWA org, then I see all the outstanding orders that need stock. BUT, I do not see a way to also include each store’s minimum/maximum stock requirements. Is there a way to run the purchasing plan so it will take into account all 3 location store sales orders as well as each store’s min/max stock requirements? For example: Example product quantity in stock 0 at each warehouse. Store 1: min safety stock 5 Store 2: min safety stock 25 Store 1: qty 3 outstanding sales orders Store 2: qty 7 outstanding sales orders When I run a purchasing plan for the A organization, I want to see: Pending sales order 3 for Store 1 Pending sales order 7 for store 2 Minimum stock 5 for store 1 Minimum stock 25 for store 2 Suggested purchase order 40 This is what the customer wants to do for some vendors. For other vendors, they want to run a purchasing plan separate for each store and have the purchase order be created for only that store, taking into account the min/max and outstanding sales orders for only the one store.
