Summary | 0030335: [RR15Q3] Offline mode does not work properly during a rebuild | ||||
Description | If the webPOS is in use while the sysadmin is updating the context, a message will be shown saying that connection is lost, a new login is required but data will be sync'ed once back online. During the rebuild, all login messages will shown a message saying that last build has failed (which is not correct) After the rebuild, a new message saying that the context has been updated and a refresh is required is shown. After this, the receipts created are not present any more. A behaviour similar to this was spotted on RR15Q2 test cycle, so it is not a regression. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | 1. On webPOS login as vallblanca user 2. Create a new receipt but keep it open (do not pay it yet) 3. On back end, login as sysadmin 4. Go to Module Management and install a module i.e. Gift Cards 5. System has to be rebuilt, so start the process 6. While the system is rebuilding, on webPOS pay the open ticket. A message is shown: "Online: The connection was restored. However, in the meantime, your session timed out. You must login again now to ensure proper synchronization. Your pending tickets will be saved". 7. Try to log in. A message about the system under maintenance is shown. Note that the message says that last build failed, which is not correct. 8. Once build has finished and system is restarted, try to login once again. 9. A message is shown: "Information: The application has been updated, and a refresh of the browser needs to be done. Please click on the OK button and this will be done automatically" 10. Clicking the button is not necessary, since the system automatically got refreshed by itself. Once back in the main screen, the ticket created in step 2 is not present nor has been sync'ed with the back end. | ||||
