0000235: AT235MP4 - Business Partner address Entry
Various differences in bahaviour compared to MP1.
1. When entering a new address, details not reflected back into address field until record is saved.
2. Relation view of addresses for a business partner does not show location/address details (it does in MP1)
1 Create new business partner e.g. type vendor.
2 Open Location/Address tab and create new address using address widget
3 Save address widget and address does not appear in address box
4 Save address screen (with apparently blank address) and address appears in box

We have tested this bug in the same environment (windows+postgres+IE7) and we are not able to reproduce this bug.

Can you give us more detailed information about the address you insert or any detail in order to reproduce it?

It concerned acceptance tests 6 and 7. I was entering business partners manually because there is no Postgres script to upload. It was consistent behaviour over 9 records. I entered the data in I_Businesspartner.txt http://wiki.openbravo.com/wiki/images/d/d5/I_Businesspartner.txt [^]

I created partner categories manually and then created 9 business partners using the script above.

If you can't reproduce then there is nothing that can be done now. I'll retest in a different environment when the production version is released

We was inserting Business Partners address from Master Data Management || Business Partner || Business Partner >> Location/Address and everything was going ok.

If you want, I have created the postgres script in order to insert import formats automatically (http://wiki.openbravo.com/wiki/Acceptance_Testing/Format_loader_script_postgres [^]).

Thank you very much for the Postgres script. I will use it when I test the release version of MP4

Just tested the production release of MP4 and this problem still exists. If you would like me to produce a document with screen shots please let me know.

Please Laurieb,
it would be great if you could give us as many information as possible in order to reproduce what is happening to you and to try to fix it.
Thank you

Reminder sent to: laurieb

Openbravo 2.35 MP5 does not support PostgreSQL 8.3.
Only Openbravo 2.40 versions will support PostgreSQL 8.3.

Please use a PostgreSQL 8.1.4 or higher or a PostgreSQL 8.2 as database for the Openbravo 2.35 versions.
