Summary | 0002284: Grid view fails to display properly
Description | Ubuntu 7.04 Postgres 8.2 tomcat 5.5 Ant 1.6.5 Openbravo 2.35 SETUP to reproduce error Screen resolution 1024x768 Login to Openbravo using Openbravo username From the menu choose Sales Management/Transactions/Simple Sales Order Select grid view if not in grid view then slide the horizontal slider to the right to view the rest of the data and it is not there. This behaveour occurs because in this scenario there are two sets of vertical and horizontal sliders. The inner sliders are hidden and therefore the operator uses the only horizontal slider visible. The workaround for this situation is to user the browser's full screen mode by pressing F11. It would appear that the Openbravo screen is designed for a larger screen than 1024x768. This is unfortunate as, in my experience, screens of a larger resolution are fairly rare in the SMEs that I visit. In fact a lot of them are still using 800x600 screens and this is often because of poor eyesight. It is therefore my request that the default design size be adjusted to 1024x768 or let the browser do the adjusting. Anyway this mistaken display happens far too often to be left un-resolved. Note that in the attached screenshot that the inner vertical slider is missing. Kind regards, Andrew Ballantine.
