Summary0022253: Input field is hidden by drop-down list
DescriptionWhen the user starts entering a text into a selector field, such as the product
selector in the order line tab as in the attached picture, the drop-down list happens to hide the input field depending on the space available in the screen.
Steps To Reproduce-The error happens depending on the window size so to reproduce it you can change the size of the browser to make it smaller than the full size of the window.
-After that open the sales invoice window
-Go to the lines and add a line on grid view
-Start typing on the product combo.
*See that the values shown hides the text where you are typing.

Proposed SolutionThe suggestion to resolve this issue is that according to the space available in the
browser window, the drop-down list is displayed either below or above the text field
so that the input field is never hidden.

That is the default behaviour implemented by smartclient. It can be checked here [1] or in the attached screenshot (the input box appears in front of the combo only in the screenshot).

That is also the default behaviour of combos in other well-established product, i.e. Gmail (check in [2] the combo to select the month of the birth date).
