Summary | 0002223: AT235: Installer does not create attach directory
Description | Problem Description =================== The installer does not create the attach directory that the user specifies in the installer window. Instead, an "attachment" directory is created. In previous versions of the installer both "attach" and "attachment" were created, even if "attachment" was not used. In the latest version of the installer, only "attachment" is created but at run time the system looks for "attach". As a consequence, the attachment functionality fails until the user manually creates that directory. Environment =========== 2.35 Acceptance Testing How To Reproduce ================ Run the installer and accept all the defaults. The attachment directory is something like: /home/openbravo/Openbravo235/AppsOpenbravo/attach. This value is populated in build.xml but /home/openbravo/Openbravo235/AppsOpenbravo/attachment is created instead. We have reproduced this issue with the Postgre installer but we believe it is not dependent on the selected database. Workaround ========== After the installer has completed, manually create the directory for attachment matching its location to the value in build.xml. Also, make sure to give write privileges to the user running Tomcat for that directory.
