| Description | There are two windows which should be hidden in the Financial Management // Accounting // Setup folder, those are:
There are two windows which should be hidden in the Financial Management // Accounting // Setup folder
(1) Accounting Dimension:
This window allows to create Sales Region, Project, Business Partner and Product dimensions, but it could cause confusion because:
- this window does not allow to create other dimensions such as Campaign, Activities. Those dimensions could be configured in the Accounting Schema as mandatory ones but this window does not allow to create them as it does not show a tab for each of them
- it does allow to create BP and Products but the proper place to create those items are the BP window and the Products window.
- If you create a BP in the BP tab of this window, it gives you an error because the BP Category is mandatory but it is not shown as a field.
(2) G/L Category:
This window is not used to create new categories. To be researched??? |

Testing Plan
Summary: Accounting Dimension window should not be accessible. Menu entry has been deactivated.
1) Type in the "Quick Launch" selector "Accounting Dimension" --> no results
2) Using the menu tree go to Financial Management >> Accounting >> Setup and realize that the Accounting Dimension window is not there.
G/L Category is still visible.
This change has been verified with Patricia and Eduardo.
