Laurieb: are you sure that this is a relevant request?
We could design the installer to create a shortcut for the browser of the machine where the mid tier is installed but Openbravo is really intended to be a multi-user environment and in a production situation no user should have access to the mid-tier machine, only the person performing the configuration.

I understand, but I was only comparing to my MP1 installation on Windows XP. This created windows menu shortcuts to start Openbravo and uninstall it. I just noticed that the MP4 installer created the Openbravo menu item, but no options its just blank which is a bit pointless. I don't really have a view, but it looked like a bug to me so I reported it.

I now understand and accept this as a bug for packaging. I updated the description and summary.

Sorry I seem to have mislead you. Installing MP1 on windows XP works fine. The windows Start/Programs menu has a fully populated menu item for Openbravo. I installed MP4 on windows 2003 R2 and it produced a blank Windows Start/Programs entry for OB.

I will retest the release version of MP4 when its available - on XP/windows 2003 and Oracle/Postrgess
