In MRP Management --> Setup --> Planning Method

The list of transaction types in the line tab should be filtered.

Available options should be:

Requisition
Purchase Order in Progress
Sales Forecast
Sales Order in Progress
Work Requirement in Progress

The bug to apply validation rules on lists [1] has been fixed, therefore the validation rule created to filter this list in the Planning Method window now works correctly. This bug will only be fixed on trunk.
