| Description | When writing Java code and using DAL to change DB records, one often needs to put or change a value of a column that MUST contain a value of a list reference. Currently, it's up to the developer to check the List reference definition and make sure the correct unique search key of that list reference is used within the Java code. The suggestion is that upon compile time, a group of java classes with constants or enums are generated for all the list references so that: # code completion in eclipse can be used to reference to list reference items # type and value checking is done at design time | ||||
