Reproduced. The command assumes that the pg_restore executable is in the system path, and it shouldn't. |

A workaround until a new installer is provided:
Add the PostgreSQL binaries directory (PostgreSQL\8.2\bin) to the system's PATH environment variable. It's necessary to add it without spaces (use DOS name in case there are). For example:
C:\Progra~1\PostgreSQL\8.2\bin
This has to be fixed also in the upcoming 2.40alpha installer. |

Not a regression, the bug was also there in the 2.35MP1 installer. |

The workround did not work for me. I tried adding ;C:\Progra~1\PostgreSQL\8.2\bin to my Path (thats correct on my test machine), but the same problem occurred.
I selected mode="complete", complete="developer" (not standard) and asked for sample data to be installed |

Hi laurieb,
After adding that to the path, to make sure it's been added correctly, open a command line windows (start->run->cmd), and run "pg_restore --version", to see if the command is available. |

pg_restore --version says version 8.2.6 when in the bin directory.
I've tried lots of combinations in the path but I can't get it to find pg_restore unless I'm in the bin folder. I think the answer is DONT install Postgres in "Program Files".
I'll leave this for now and continue with other tests |

Fixed, now it uses the PostgreSQL path detected or specified in the installation. This will be available in the final 2.35MP4 installer. |
