0001792: GUI issue on Goods Receipt > Create from
Description:
GUI issue on Goods Receipt > Create from. Selecting an Order is enough to filter data, but Warehouse is mandatory, so I can not select the order I found because of the empty field on the filter.

Enviroment:
 DB: Oracle XE
 Openbravo: 2.33
 Language: English
 OS: Windows XP SP2
 Browser: IE7

Steps:
1. Go Purchase Management > Transactions > Goods Receipt
2. Create a new Receipt with valid data
3. Click on Create Lines From button
4. A window pops-up. The window has several GUI issues:
4.1. There are no Search button like the rest of Selector windows
4.2. The Business Partner button has no function. If I blank the field the Order selector still has only the previous Business Partner orders.
4.3. If I select and Order from the selector, the list shows the lines for the order, so it is no required to filter by Warehouse mandatory field. Why is mandatory?
4.4. If I select a line and I click on Ok button, an error message pops up. But the Warehouse position filter has no sense for me. (see attach)

Hi Pablo,

You're right for 4.1 and 4.2. It's an user interface question that we need to improve. You can follow this issue at https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1803712&group_id=162271&atid=823129. [^]

For 4.3 and 4.4, warehouse field is mandatory for the following reason. When you receive (Procurement Management > Transactions > Goods Receipt) or ship (Sales Management > Transactions > Goods Shipment) goods, you fill with or create, respectively, a hole in a particular warehouse. So it is compulsory to indicate which warehouse goods have been put in or taken out from.

I hope this answers your doubts :)

Best regards,

Rafa Roda Palacios
