Summary | 0016881: Not possible to save currency conversion rates in form view |
Description | When users attempt to define a new conversion rate, the dates start to automatically change and go backwards.
It is not possible to stop this behavior without closing the browser. This makes it impossible to save a new conversion rate.
See video in attachment. You can see two problems:
1) At minute 0:30, when I first type the Divide Rate by, the Valid from Date, which I had entered as 01-04-2011, changes to 31-03-2011. This might be a time zone related issue that other users have been reporting but that our QA team is not able to reproduce (my PC is configured to be Pacific Time Zone).
2) When I save at minute 0:32, you can see that the date starts going back automatically and never stops. The only way to stop it is to shutdown the browser (or since this is Chrome, to close the browser tab). |

I had to solve this issue in a different way to solve another issue:
https://issues.openbravo.com/view.php?id=17264 [^]
I retested this issue after the new changes and could not reproduce it, so it should work fine.
However, if it occurs again then it is good to be aware of the relation with the other issue.
