Summary0014752: Value shown on UI Selector's suggestion box (not the list) should get empty as soon as the related condition changes
DescriptionHi,

We have started applying UI Selectors on our screens; during this process, we have noticed that, though the filter expression when satisfied, does update the list of selector as soon as related values on screen change, but the previously stored value and shown for the column / field used for selector does not change (even if is not satisfying the condition in the filter expression). This results in an error message showing an invalid value for the field.

There is one more issue that we are facing, is pertaining to the overall the server response time that has reduced remarkably, especially after upgrading from MP14 to MP21.

Please suggest the solution for both the above problems.

Steps To ReproduceTake 2 fields:

One to store departments and other to store employees,
A selector should be applied on the employee field, with a filter expression - that should refresh the list of employees that belong to the department that is selected in the department's combo.

When seen on run time, the LIST of employees does get updated with every change in department's value, BUT if there is any selected, or previously stored value present for employee's field, then it will NOT be changed / removed and will remain shown on the text entry box for employee selector, even if the employee is not from the department selected.
Proposed SolutionThe text entry box should become empty.
