Summary0010269: Production MRP with capacity limitation
DescriptionCurrently, the Production MRP does not take into account the capacity of the human resources or the machines when planning. The idea would be to include this limitation when doing the plan. That would imply that:
    - Each employee would be allocated to execute an operation (or several) a limited number of times. This should be aligned with the capacity of the employee. The execution of one operation would require X time and depending on his working hours he will be able to execute one operation Z times. Employees would also be off during a period of time (due to vacation, illness, etc.).
    - Each machine would be allocated to be used for an operation (or several) a limited number of times. This should be aligned also with the capacity of the machine. Same idea as for the employees.

These limitations would affect the date when the Work Requirement has to be launched in order to have the products ready for a specific date (the scheduled delivery date in the sales order).

Then for each resource, it would be possible to see its allocation during the time. This could be done with a report.
