| Steps To Reproduce | https://livebuilds.openbravo.com/retail_mp_3.0RR20Q2.2/web/org.openbravo.retail.posterminal/?terminal=CTST1#login [^] in BO: create Discount and Promotion as price adjustment and fill the discount percent 50%. choose product category as “only those defined” and add product category as "Electronic" in POS: choose product "Digital altimeter" but discount is not applied. Digital altimeter's product category is meter and its parent is Electronics. |

| Steps To Reproduce | Case 1: (product categories as “only those defined”, where discount should apply to the category of product) Create a record in discount and promotions window as Discount/Promotion type as “price adjustment” and fill discount as 50% in definition section Choose include product categories as “only those defined” and in product category tab provide the category of the product or parent product category. Example with live builds for product “Digital altimeter” product category is “Meter” and parent category is “Electronics” and top parent category is “Light & Electronic” You can choose either Meter or Electronics or Light & Electronic in product category tab. In webpos when choosing the product “Digital altimeter” the discount is not applied. Case 2: (product categories as “All excluding defined”, where discount should not apply to the category of product) In the same above example consider product categories as “All excluding defined” and in product category tab choose parent category “Electronics” In webpos choose an item “Digital altimeter” where the parent product category is “Electronics” but discount is applied |
